Barack's Biography

"We Have a Lot of Work to Do"

Barack Obama was raised by a single mother and his grandparents. They didn't have much money, but they taught him values from the Kansas heartland where they grew up. He took out loans to put himself through school. After college, he worked for Christian churches in Chicago, helping communities devastated when steel plants closed.

Obama turned down lucrative job o?ers after law school to return to Chicago, leading a successful voter registration drive. He joined a small law ?rm, taught constitutional law and, guided by his Christian faith, stayed active in his community. Obama and his wife Michelle are proud parents of two daughters, Sasha and Malia.

What if every myspace Obama supporter set her/his default pic to an Obama symbol or picture between now and November 4th?

We could watch our "friends" pages change to Red White and Blue Obama...

Join me in this little experiment and set your default pic to Obama and then forward this bulletin on to your friends and their friends and so on and so on....

Senator Obama has the best economic and healthcare plans to benefit myself and many, many other middle class, hard working American families. I think they need to repoll Tennessee. While hospitalized, I followed CNN very closely and all of the hospital staff that came into my room were Obama supporters. They all had the same opinion that McCain's plan would not help them in the least.

YES WE CAN!

We're having record turnout, we have to more than ever get out the vote, call people, convince people that Barack Obama and Bob Tuke are the ones that can lead America through these tough economic times!

Let's go take the hill, and let's elect Obama! Make sure to use the neighbor to neighbor option to go canvass your neighborhood and/or make phone calls to people in your town.
Contact with people really can change their minds, or solidify their minds if they are wavering!

"Stop voting for people you want to have a beer with. Stop voting for folksy. Stop voting for people who remind you of your neighbor. Stop voting for the ideologically intransigent, the staggeringly ignorant, and the blazingly incompetent.

Vote for someone smarter than you. Vote for someone who inspires you. Vote for someone who has not only traveled the world but who has also shown a deep understanding and compassion for it. The stakes are real and they're terrifyingly high. This election matters. It matters. It really matters. Let me say that one more time. This. Really. Matters."
