Barack's Biography

"We Have a Lot of Work to Do"

Barack Obama was raised by a single mother and his grandparents. They didn't have much money, but they taught him values from the Kansas heartland where they grew up. He took out loans to put himself through school. After college, he worked for Christian churches in Chicago, helping communities devastated when steel plants closed.

Obama turned down lucrative job o?ers after law school to return to Chicago, leading a successful voter registration drive. He joined a small law ?rm, taught constitutional law and, guided by his Christian faith, stayed active in his community. Obama and his wife Michelle are proud parents of two daughters, Sasha and Malia.

NURSES FOR OBAMA!!! Barack Obama understands the dangerous shortage of nurses in this country. Imagine this, YOUR CHILD is very ill and is a patient at your local hospital which is severly short of nurses. This puts your childs LIFE AT RISK. Who do you think has the insight and intelligence to solve this crisis in our hospitals. Certainly NOT JOHN MCCAIN.

"BE THE CHANGE YOU WANT TO SEE IN THE WORLD!"

Dawn

Oct 14 2008 5:24 PM

"Stop voting for people you want to have a beer with. Stop voting for folksy. Stop voting for people who remind you of your neighbor. Stop voting for the ideologically intransigent, the staggeringly ignorant, and the blazingly incompetent.

Vote for someone smarter than you. Vote for someone who inspires you. Vote for someone who has not only traveled the world but who has also shown a deep understanding and compassion for it. The stakes are real and they're terrifyingly high. This election matters. It matters. It really matters. Let me say that one more time. This. Really. Matters."

PBS has an online poll posted asking if Sarah Palin is qualified.

The poll will be reported on PBS and picked up by mainstream media. It can influence undecided voters in swing states.

Please do two things:
1) Click on link and vote yourself.
Here's the link:
http://www. pbs. org/now/polls/poll-435. html
2) Then send this to every single Obama-Biden voter you know, and urge them to vote and pass it on.

The last thing we need is PBS saying their viewers think Sarah Palin is qualified.

I loved it when Obama said, 'And you know, Sen. McCain, I think the "Straight Talk Express" lost a wheel on that one!' Obama is wonderful! He is a gift to the USA! He is the change we need in the world! Bless his good heart and family that he win's so that we all win for the survival and strength of our future! What a proud and honorable debate night... I am Thankful to him and As always, Obama displayed himself as the 'best man.

I'm confident we can get this state to turn blue again. Although I'm a registered Michigan voter and will be voting absentee because I'm military, I have gotten all of my friends and family here in VA to get out there and make the right decision.
Here we come Nov 4th!
