I was born in London and while at Bristol University started playing in folk clubs in the West Country of England. After college I joined The Fred Bloggs Band and toured Europe's U.S. military bases singing pop, rock and funk.
I moved to Los Angeles in the 1980s and pursued a career in education. When my children were young I taught recorder at their elementary school. I made my first CD, Nothing Between Us in 2000 on a Roland home studio; it is a mixture of romantic, folk and new-age songs featuring guitar and piano. This was followed by Mojave Moon which is also available at CDBaby.com, and Time Flies, which is available at my website.
I have recently been drawn to English folk music once again and include some favorites in my repertoire, interspersed with pop, country, and some of my own songs.
