Barbara LeShoure, a powerful blues singer who has relocated from Chicago to the Twin Cities, played Friday night at Famous Dave's with the Tom Hunter band. If you haven't seen her yet, do it, she sings powerful post war Chicago Blues as well as any female blues performer out there today! You might want to check this blues lady out! "Ray M. Stiles"

"Girlfriend, I've been mistreated" sings organ-piped Barbara LeShoure. "I think you know what I'm talking about." She gets an empathetic "yeah" from the intimate room, which is dimly lighted save for the open soul-food kitchen in the corner, Then she waves her All-Star Blues Band to an abrupt stop and repeats the phrase, "He had the nerve" before gesturing for a musical yeah! from the guitar, bass, drums, and keyboards. Blam! "He had the neeeeerve" Blam! Then she waits. "Sucker" she smiles. And she brings it home with a growl: "He had the nerve to put me off." Outside the club, a purring cop car has the nerve to park plumb in the middle of the sidewalk where patrons exit. "SCHOLTES, City Pages"
Vocalist Barbara LeShoure, her ability to belt out the blues has made her a favorite with Monaco and Rose. They invited her to appear with globe-trotting guitar hero Joe Jammer at a SOPRO show at the China Club this past summer and she proved a big hit with the audience. by: Terry Flamm
Hi Barbara LeShoure We wanna thank you for your very important support in those sad days.
This thanx are in our name, in the name of Enrico's wife Paola and in the name of his sons.
Enrico Micheletti's ashes are flyin' throughout the universe and we hope his soul is finally arrived at a beautiful destination.
What about his music and the music we had recorded toghether?
We finally decide to get it out. We wanna remeber Enrico in this way. In the first quarter of 2009 we will publish all our and Enrico Micheletti' s materials on Itunes and many other stores on the web.
We'll send you a message when it's all ready.
God bless you!!!
Marry Christmas and Have a wonderful 2009!!!
KEEP THE BLUES ALIVEEEE!!!!!!!
Appena sarà tutto pronto ti faremo sapere.
Per adesso ti auguriamo Buon Natale e Felice Anno Nuovo. Dio ti benedica ancora, grazie. Suonate il blues più che potete!!!!!
Hi Barbara!! Been awhile, hope all is well! If you should find yourself back in Chicago with some dowmtime, Rob Pasenko and I from Blue Plate Special just recently started up "Rob Pasenko's 35th Street Pro Blues Jam" at Catcher's Inn at 901 W. 35th street, on thursdays at 9pm. It's open to all but we're concentrating on gettin' as many pro's to come by and blow off some steam, maybe meet some other available musicians. Blues and soul is the only language spoken here and we're keepin' it that way. Amps and Drums are here. So far on the pro side we got Sammy Fender, Lindsey Alexander, Joe Kelley, Killer Ray,Chuck Crane, Joe McCullough, Tom Crivlone and Don Griffin Comin' by. Robert's workin' on Billy Branch and Carey Bell. So please come on by when ya' get a chance. Plenty of good street parking. Tell all your friends cause this is one club we can build into a blues club with a central city location that can benefit us all for weekend gigs. No waiting lists like at Rosa's and Legends and the Mines. No cover either so in times like these people can come and dig the vibe without the 10 buck cover. This can be good for all of us!----Ron Michaels
