A recent trip to New Orleans has me listening to all things New Orleans!! In a former life (high schoool and university) I was a mediocre tenor and bari sax player. :)Movies

About me:
I'm a public librarian who sings bass in a women's barbershop chorus in southeastern Wisconsin. I can't say that the librarian part is just a job -- I love what I do! I'm a consultant in youth services and special needs for two public library systems and I work with librarians at 42 libraries. I'm also active in several professional organizations (Wisconsin Library Assocation, PLA, ALA, ALSC, and ASCLA). Suffice it to say that if a committee is looking for a member or someone to volunteer to run for a position, I'm the one who can't say no! Similarly, like my job in libraryland isn't WORK, being a Sweet Adeline isn't just a HOBBY! (No matter what I try to tell myself.....) I sing bass with the Riverport Chorus.
