MySpace a place for friends

My dad and his 30-year-old Praktica are to be blamed for my first baby-photographic steps. Then I tortured our little family Sony for quite a few years but always dreamt of getting something a bit more 'serious'. That dream came true a while ago when I bought a Canon 350D, and then Sigma 28-300mm 3.5-6.5 DG Macro lens. Now I own a new Canon's 400D. But still, the technology is just a tool which helps us to express what goes on inside. "It is only with the heart that one can see rightly; what is essential is invisible to the eye." I guess I could say photography is my passion! heart I've also created a little place of my own called The Moon (that's innovative, I know) where I spend my days in peace & quiet, just thinking or upgrading my mind. It's my personal fairyland where I can be whatever I want but more than that, true to myself. Freud would probably say I suffer a major resignation crisis, but that, with all due respect, is not it, as the moon on which I'm arranging my thoughts and things like that, is not something that's holding me still nor back, right the opposite, it's like magic, giving me wings so I can fly higher, keeping my eyes open even when the view is unfamiliar and because of that a bit scary. Back in the good 3D civilization my moods are arranged from hyper- laughing-lunatic to realistic-serious. In between, there is no evil and that's the one thing I'm proud of (although a friend gave me a Voodoo kit - it's still closed & unused, I can prove it! And since it was a goodbye present I'm guessing it was more as an "I'll always be there to protect you even when we are thousands of miles apart!" gesture). Everyday I try and want to be closer to my real meaning which is not always easy, because surprisingly, you might find that there are some things or people you just have to let go while you go along, but knowing you're doing the right thing as your spirits tell you so, makes it easier. This might sound like a textbook, but it's the things you don't do that you regret. So to all of you, there are limits but we can set new ones, so try and make the most & best out of every single moment, life really is what you make it so spice it with all the important ingredients such as love, friendship, truthfulness, forgiveness, (com)passion, peacefulness ... ... ... What you are is what you leave behind!
