Founded in 1993 by two working mothers, Barefoot Books is an independent business based in Cambridge, Massachusetts in the US and Bath in England. The company enjoys an international reputation for the quality of its products, and for the importance it places on creativity, diversity and an acceptance of the world's many traditions. If you believe that the children in your life deserve the best, you have come to the right place.
Personally, I'm a working mom who has traveled around the world and has worked in cultural and historical museums for the past 10 years. I'm hoping to have my own bookshop someday, and this is one step in that plan.
