The sound of Barely Legal, unfamiliar and new. A one band that closest to cebuano's heart. If you think this is all a joke, and you think you're right maybe you're not wrong.
It was early 2003, before it was called Barely Legal,the band started as a death metal band
but after a couple of months they ended up as a punkrock band,the other term of 'punk-kingkoy'
and 'punk-kolokoy' then later on due to changing of band line-ups they evolved into emocore
a short term also of 'emo-kolokoy' and 'hardcore-likoy'.
Due to maturity of Barely Legal's music and also with some members of the band getting aged, specially the vocalist and still not getting a RECORD DEAL or even a paid gig! they experimented their sound into a music breed from metal to hardcore and they shifted to a new genre called METALCORE. A short term for...no budget band or un-recognized musicians.
After all Barely Legal is just a bunch of hopeless romantic talented wanna bee's rockstars that touches everyone's private parts...the heart and mind...
