The A side is CCR's "Hey Tonight" done by the Fresh Young Fellows" and a case of Pabst Blue Ribbon. On side B, Bargoyle turns up the heat and lets loose with a punk tune that comes complete with frenzied guitar and a machine gun rebel call to arms, "Ignorance and Apathy." It makes you think that Reagan is back in office or something, or maybe these guys from Athens realize that they are part of the downtrodden among OU's collegiate elite or maybe they just want to drink...heavily. (T-Bone)
Started as an alternative to the Cough-Syrup Rock at the time. This sonic attack trio decided to go the other way completely. Eliminating all the fluff of the standard pop/punk song. By eliminating narcissitic song writing crutches like repeption. Bargoyle opted to present a streamlined version of a song, a full song still, but faster, better. Why repeat the chorus three times, if you do it right the first time through?
