Fighting For Literacy Now	Jul 27 2009 5:48 PM I recently watched a show on human trafficking and child slavery. I was so upset that I felt nauseated. I can't fathom what these innocent victims go through. So young, and so tainted by evil. I immediately wrote a poem about this. I just couldn't stop thinking about these people suffering. I'm posting the poem I wrote after watching this show. Children are traded as sex slaves every day- They are chained up like animals and can't get away- They are sold at brothels and made to be like sex toys- It can be any child, Doesn't matter if it's girls or boys- Victims are what all of these innocent children become- Few make it through many years, But there are some- They are whipped and made to do dirty deeds- Abused and forced to serve adults filthy needs- Depressed and praying to stay alive- They strain their bodies and minds just to survive- Keep your eyes open and search for these kids- Report anything suspicious or anything that blows your lids- Don't let a child suffer any longer than this- They will fall deeper into the black, deathly abyss- We have to help raise awareness and keep the kids safe- No more hunger, torture or rape!!!!!!
