Duo Kimberly & Doug Barnhill are the core of Barn Hill Station. This talented songwriting duo moves audiences with songs that tug at the heart-strings and wander through various phases of life's journeys, struggles and hopes. Their live shows showcase Kim's natural vocal talents and Doug's well-honed unique style of guitar playing. BHS has opened in support of various national acts including Lucy Kaplansky, Hayseed Dixie, Tony Rice Unit and Don Dixon. Barn Hill Station has also been featured several times in the featured band spotlight show at the world famous Bluebird Cafe in Nashville, TN.
Their current full length release "Eden's Highway" produced by Jamie Hoover and Doug Barnhill has been getting rave reviews and lots of spins on the local Americana Station 91.7 WSGE and 88.7 WNCW.
One of the featured tracks "Fairytale World" was recently selected by Shut Eye Records was featured on their United State of Americana Volume 2 compilation! Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Benefit for the Humane Society has also selected this song as a featured cut on their annual local artist compilation.

A native New Yorker, Doug jump-started his career playing clubs in the Northeast. After moving south he teamed up with Kimberly doing various cover acts in and around the Charlotte, NC and Myrtle Beach areas. The two decided to start writing and recording their own material, which eventually gave birth to the current Barn Hill Station project.
