AFTER THREE MONTHS OF HELL, BARNSLEY SOUNDBYTES IS FINALLY BACK ONLINE!!!!!
A SLIGHT NAME CHANGE - BUT WE’RE BACK FOR ANOTHER ROUND OF MAYHEM AND NONSENSE.
Soundbytes started out a few years ago as a website dedicated to the local music scene. After a few months we were producing one of the most popular local magazines around. Sadly funding was lax (we’re tight twats here in Barnsley) and we had to say goodbye to the ‘zine back in November 07.
During the past few months we have seen a decline in the music scene, BUT, all is not lost! Barnsley Soundbytes is back to help support our local talent and our town.
Those who missed our beloved magazine will be pleased to know that we’re currently bringing those much-loved features back to life. There’s something for everyone. Bands can find out where and how to get a gig in Barnsley and the locals can find out where to go watch them!! But it’s not all about the music.
