It's a New England extravaganza with free top name entertainment, major exhibits, The Big E Super Circus, the Avenue of States, dazzling thrill shows, New England history and agriculture, animals, rides, shopping, crafts, a daily parade and a Mardi Gras parade and foods from around the world for 17 glorious days during New England's most colorful season.
For the second time in it's 90 year history the Big E will proudly present Hispanic Heritage Day "Cultura" 2008. This is set again to be a monumental occasion in the history of the fair. Latinos must join together to make this second event even a bigger success than 2007.

Legendary charanga & salsa singer Ronnie Baró now brings his
original compositions and arrangements to hs own band BAROSALSA.
Ronnie, is an extremely talented song writer and arranger, and one
of the most recorded behind the scenes background singer and
percussionist.
Ronnie, one of the original founders of Africando, was the
driving force gathering together the top Latin NY studio musicians to
record all but the latest Africando album and has had one or more
of his compositions on each of the Africando releases. He composed and
sang Trovador, Colombia Mi Corazon, El Que Te Ama Siempre, Carpentero,
and Guarachea Mi Chula. He is also featured on albums of Orquesta
Broadway, Cubanoson, Sonsublime, Charanga 76, Charanga
America, Robert Palmer, Johnny Almendra y Los Jovenes del Barrio and
many more.
Ronnie will be playing his own original compositions and arrangements.
Ronnie believes that many aspects of salsa have been
lost in its commercialization and this is one of the major reasons for his forming his own band. Ronnie is going to bring back
the three major aesthetics that are the lifeblood of Afro-Latin
music: afrocentrism, improvisation, and storytelling. This
will produce some of the best and innovative Latin Salsa
and Chranga for your dancing and listening pleasure.
Ronnie is also performing now with the following bands as a lead singer
and is available to perform for your functions with any of the these
great Salsa and Charanga bands.

In the song Son Con Condicion Ronnie sings all the vocals, Ist lead, 2nd voice and also the third voice in the end montuno.
In the song Amor Regresa he is only 16 years old when it was recorded.
The composed songs for Africando were written by Ronnie. He wrote all the instrument parts and the words. His brother-in-law was the arranger.
Ronnie no longer sings with Africando, but he will recording is own arrangements of all his songs along with many more.
