New York Nightlife and Music:
Venture deep into the nether regions of this Park Slope haunt to discover its main attraction: a sprawling two-tiered garden area with lush ivy and strings of lights that make it an ideal spot for romantic after-dinner drinks. A lofted seating area in the upper bar is perfect for people-watchingaccessible only by a wrought-iron spiral staircase, it provides a birds-eye view of the entire room. Named after its owner, Bar Reis (pronounced REES) was just a wine bar when it opened in 1999. Nowadays, the drink selection goes beyond vino to an assortment of bottled beer and liquor. Andrew Wang
Bar Reis has been a Park Slope favorite for almost eight years, featuring an outdoor garden, upstairs bar and downstairs lounge.
The downstairs lounge can accommodate large parties. The limestone walls compliment the romantic cranberry paint which set the mood for the evening. Guests may also enjoy seating in the open loft, accessible by a steel spiral staircase, with tables for dinning and cushions for lounging.
Customers can also enjoy a lazy Sunday outdoors basking in the sun.
Bar Reis is located at 375 Fifth Avenue, Brooklyn, New York between 5th and 6th Street. For private parties and press inquires, please contact Reis Goldberg directly

Who I'd like to meet: "Great, casual, neighborhood bar, that offers lounge-style lounging downstairs. A place to relax with absolutely no attitude, staff is super friendly. Stop by for drinks and stay for the ambience."
