John Barrett is a songwriter, musician from the midwest. Rock, reggae and an underlying groove are trademarks of John's music. John's songs have been performed and recorded by some of the top midwest acts.
John has turned his focus to his songs. New songs are on paper and bits of tape and memory scattered about. From The Wind Lake Studio, John's fourth CD has just been released. Requests keep coming in for some of the 'early stuff' - if you've got a favorite, let us know & we'll see if we can invite it for a short stay on myspace.
