The band formed in January 2006 and have spent the last year developing their sound and performing gigs in and around Bristol and further afield as far as Germany.
The music infuses the new wave rock sound with UK grime/hip hop, Reggae and Drum n Bass to produce a very powerful combination.
The band was complete with the inclusion of Yasmin (Yaz) in December 2006.
Lux MC - Vocals (MC/Producer/local mixtape regular)
Yaz - Vocals (Talented singer who has been heavily involved in the Bristol music scene for many years)
Rob Barnaville- Vocals, Guitar, Keyboards (involved in Bristol bands and DJ scenes for many years, adding the new wave element)
Cotti - Bass, Keyboards (DJ/Producer/Engineer at the heart of the Bristol dance scene for well over a decade!)
Nick Brown- Drums,Percussion (has played in all types of band in bristol for many years.)
Barrio Kingdom have just completed their first E.P 'Get On With Life' and are itching to get their banging tunes in to your ears and get you jumping and sweating at venues in a town near you.
