Well, as those who might check in here recently can probably tell by now, I don't do much with this site. In fact I have pretty much stopped my studio recordings and playing as other things in life won't allow me to enjoy my passion. Oh well, that the way it goes. Anyway I was noticing the other day on "Good Lord Mr. Shelby" I had not given credit where credit is due. This song was inspired by my friend Adam O'Dwyer who had asked me to put a little tune to it since he had heard I pick a little on a guitar. Well it just so happens that night that I opened up his post my lovely wife and I were in an argument. She was on one side of the house and I was in my studio pouting with tequila (yes, I like the necter of the Agave). So as I was reading what he posted I though "why the heck not". Unfortunately that night I was also suffering from a head cold and was very congested. Anyway, what Adam had written came across to me as more of a poem ( original can be found here - http://www.teamshelby.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=21903&st=0 ) so I took a little poetic license, rearranged what he had written while tyring to still capture what he was trying to say (as much as I could after two Sauza margaritas), turned on the Presonus and my 1" diaphragm mic and, as they say, the rest is history. Now the version you hear on this page is not the original. The original was clouded with me choking and blowing snot bubbles so this is a recording a few weeks later. Anyway, I forwarded this to Adam not expecting it to go past his email when the next thing I know Adam is calling me saying Carroll Shelby's company wants the thing. Go figure!! Anyway, the song has developed a small group of listeners so please, sit back and enjoy if you like it and if not, well it's obvious you don't own a Shelby (HA). i eFin HATE HATE HATE this laptop!!!! what the FFFFFFFFFFF?????!!!??? Does yours not jump all over? It took me six times and 15 min to type this b/c it kept erasing or jumping the cursor allllllllll around. i actually had something to tell you, but Fu#k it!!!!!!!!!! my patience is GONE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
