Hey back. I'm good, haven't found a bass player. I am opening for John Craigie again out here in Milwaukee at my favorite place, the SugarMaple. I think I just have Joe's band (Slander Cannon) back me up.
How are you? Anything new and exciting in your music world? I sure do miss knowing several good bands around me. There is definitely some good music here in my neighborhood, but the scene lacks the small town camaraderie of a place like Moscow.
I don't have a job yet. Bumming off my husband's salary. I hang out at home and cook decadent meals, read, running is nice here, humid. I haven't been playing at all, I should start so my fingers don't hurt when I play at the SugarMaple.
We're just passing through on the way to George, Washington. I drank a lot of wine, but somehow survived. I still haven't heard the session you recorded of us, I think Justin has the CD somewhere. Either way, I'll be back.
Nah, no biting because he's actually dysmature and was in the ICU because he went through a hypoxic event during the birthing process. So he was pretty out of it. He's actually doing much better today (his third day of life) but he is really really baby and doesn't do much but sleep and eat. He can barely even stand but I heard that he started nursing on his own this morning so that's awesome! The tape is actually just keeping his nasogastric tube in place so we can feed him his mom's milk that way. And I wouldn't know if he's soft or not unfortunately.. since he is at high risk for sepsis we have to keep gloves on all the time. :(
