Barton Ct. Productions Inc. is an independent entertainment company of creative revolutions, offering independent movies, music, books, and other products from various different artists through its own products and various creative media services.
Barton Ct. began in 1999 as a group of kids making home movies with cheap video cameras. In May of 2006, Barton Ct. went corporate. In 2009, Barton Ct. will celebrate its 10 Year Anniversary. Having said that, we can go ahead and safely say that we have been around a while.
But Barton Ct. is more than a name.
It all started with Stephen Wolfe on his hometown street. A common indie film maker type, Stephen began producing films with a distinct style aligned with his favorite action-horror genre. In December of 2002, key player Scott Lee entered the company. Together with prior Board members Charles Green, Travis Hallett, and James Monaghan the company oversaw the completion of over 75 different short films and the release of their first commercially produced DVD - Barton Ct. Collections Volume 1.
What has largely begun as a sort of fringe movement, typical for any small scale independent entertainment company of any kind, Barton Ct. aims to make independent art of all mediums a little more mainstream. The entire culture of the company has become largely centered over the support of independent artists, education, and further variety of creative expression external from mainstream distribution channels.
In 2008, Barton Ct. Productions Inc. premiered its first feature length film to a private audience, a documentary entitled I’m Not Gonna Lie(ImNotGonnaLieMovie.com) - telling the story of an early 20’s American culture with a background of life philosophy entangled in its adventures of chaotic living. In 2009, I’m Not Gonna Lie will be released for free public viewing.
A techno album from debut musical artist Kreese has been released September 25th, 2008. As a further step for breaking away from an “indie fringe” aura, the album is set for a more wide scale distribution than previous Barton Ct. products, being the first product to feature a more developed marketing plan with a UPC barcode and integration into a future promotional effort by the company, consisting of visiting various public venues to assist in sales of the album. Toward the middle of 2009, however, Barton Ct. chose to abandon this project, at least temporarily, to pursue a larger fanbase with its other intellectual property.
Now, Barton Ct. seeks only to save money until it can launch a full scale project that can be distributed across America on the big screen. Until that time, projects like I’m Not Gonna Lie and the new comedy series set for release this summer: Barton Police, will have to do.
Structurally, Barton Ct. Productions Inc. has actually been split into three divisions over time, referred to as Barton Ct. Main, BartonFX, and BartonU. BartonFX and BartonU are now both largely inactive, but there have been many discussions in the company for reviving the activity of BartonU by making products that provide technical training for film makers.

CLIPS FROM I'M NOT GONNA LIE I'm Not Gonna Lie is a feature length documentary under works by Barton Ct. Productions Inc. following the lives of early 20 year olds from the Houston, Texas suburbs. The documentary promises to be a controversial classic for parents and young adults alike.
