Born in Costa Rica in 1989 and moved to Belgium at age 14, Bartosz Brenes has been active in Brussels' House scene since 2005. He first started his career spinning in local clubs such as the Fuse or the Mirano Continental along Belgium's hottest deejays such as Dave Lambert, Dalite and Olivier Gosseries.
That same year, Bartosz met Timofey and Nick In Time, two talented producers who encouraged him to start composing. First, Nick In Time offered to remix Da Star's "I Got The Music" with him. Later on, Timofey became Bartosz's mentor and taught him the basics in composing and remixing.
It was in 2006 that Bartosz earned a spot in Brussels' nightfile with constant bookings in nightclubs such as the You Night Club and the Soho Club Brussels, this fresh new style was starting to be recognized by clubbers of the Belgian capital.
But 2007 was without a doubt one of Bartosz' most successfull years so far with special guestmixes on Fun Radio, NetFM and ClubXtreme, and a monthly residency on Student's Radio that then turned into a bimonthly residence on Paris One DJ Webradio. But if you thought that was all, this year Bartosz has been invited to play abroad at nightclubs such as the Club Vertigo (Costa Rica), Tiefenrausch (Germany) and the Pahia Club (Luxembourg).
