"Crawfordsville's Base Defiler is a no frills, straight up, metal band. They describe themselves as five super sweet and killer dudes. Thankfully, their music does not reflect that at all. No bullshit love metal here! Base Defiler brings back the theory that every riff should be catchy. There is a fine line between weak and catchy but Base Defiler does an excellent job of not crossing into the wrong side as their songs are no less brutal for the effort.
Jerod, Mason, and Dustin shred a straight line representing a good mix of thrash and death. Nik's drums work exceptionally well with the mix. He is a solid player with a good ear for exactly what the song needs. Add in the bands love of single note guitar melodies, top it off with Bake's unwavering vocals and you have one of the best young metal bands in the whole state. Expect great things from this band."

Hi there! Warattah will record its first album from June to the end of July!! There will be 13 titles inside for around 1 hour of Groovy Metal. In the same time, we prepare for shooting our 2nd video clip for the unpublished song "Revenge".

Dirty Jack’s is committed to making sure that you earn the money you deserve. We are capable of paying you more as a local band than any other venue you are currently working in the Greater Cincinnati, but we all need to work together to do it! This event was created to hear what we have to offer you and for you to offer up your suggestions and give us your feedback. We hope to plan more events similar to this on a regular basis.
This night is dedicated to the great musicians of our fair town and we offer you a chance to come in, drink cheap, interact with your local music community and see our club with no cover if you have not had the opportunity.
Dirty Jack’s is located at 5912 Vine St. in Elmwood Place, right in the middle of the 275 loop and 1 mile north of the P&G Ivorydale plant (St. Bernard Soap Company). Street parking is available as well as in the municipal lot located at the northwest corner of the club at Linden and Vine.
