Background:
In the late 80's Base got into Hip Hop because his brother listened to it every day.After that he came in touch with Jungle,DnB and other kinds of music thru the shows Blackboard Jungle (Radio Fritz/Germany) and One in the Jungle (BBC Radio/GB).His first record he brought in 1992 after that he started to play records in 1995, mostly hip hop and some selected jungle and drum&bass tunes. In the year 1996 he founded togehter with Tronic the label Nasdia,which is a tape,cd and record label.Over the years he came in touch with reggae, dub and breakcore. some invitations to parties in Leipzig (Saxony) finally made him move there in 2k.In unique vein he is mixing through his love for oldskool breaks, jungle, ragga jungle and drum&bass an impulsive, ruff and perfect program which he refines at the right times with fine dub, reggae or hip hop tunes. That's why he also was invited to the Ulan Bator Crew as the 'Jungle-Dub-Reggae Warrior No.1'. He is also a member of the new founded Jungle Lion Sound besides D.I.S (Ruff-E-Nuff) & Dj Derrick( Ulan-Bator).which will build up the new ragga-jungle alliance in east germany.so watch out !
