Basement Audio is a digital recording studio in Binghamton, NY. We have been working with artists in and outside the area since 1999. We've done many diverse projects ranging from musical to commercial.
Our sound rooms were built to specific dimensions for tonal balance. These rooms were tested for sound absorption coefficients, and have near perfect diffusion. By controlling the acoustics in this way the rooms become ideal for digital recording.
We take a different approach to every song including live recordings, over-dubbing, and combinations of both.
A complex digital editing process can be applied to ensure no mistakes make it into your music. However if you're looking for a totally live sound this step can be avoided. It is also through this editing process that creative "cheating" can be used to make effects that humans could never reproduce live.
We do everything...from recording, editing, and mixing full albums to developing solo artists from scratch with session musicians.
Our rates can vary, depending on the nature of the project. On average we charge between $20 to $40 an hour. Just email us here w/ a description of the project and we can arrange a deal immediatly.

To take your band to the next step after the audio is done, Flying Penguin Entertainment can help you with everything from promotion to press kits. Also an organizer of local events. LoadedGoat Media produces music videos from live shows to directing full video concepts. Pop Left is an organizer of live events including Pop Left UK taking care of things overseas.
