Music, bass, art, design, working on my house, dancing, bar hopping, movies, sailing
Music
Stay Tuned of course. duh. Also dig the old 70s rock like Boston, Led Zep, etc. Some of the new alt stuff like Presidents, wheezer, etc. And a lot of electronica like hooverphonic, zero 7, massive attack, etc.
Movies
The Big Lebowski, Little Miss Sunshine, Napoleon Dynamite. Not a fan of film on teeth.
Television
Kitchen Nightmares, Heroes, Life. That's about it. I don't watch much tv.
Books
Heinlein, King, Asimov. Really dug the Harry Potter books.
About me: I play bass for the seattle band Stay Tuned -- we're a television tribute band, revisiting old tv theme songs and rocking them out.
I'm also a managing partner in a little design company called Red Card Studios. I am an artist besides being a musician, painted my way out of college and now design for a living. Music to me is a passion, a love. I'd hate for it to be the 9 to 5 job, to wake up in the morning (or the evening) and say, "aw crap I gotta go to work" and go out and play.
It's kind of a beautiful thing to look forward to that energy whether it's going into the studio and practicing for hours a couple times a week, or going and rocking out a show somewhere....
I'm also on the crew of a sailing boat; we race in the Puget Sound. Lots of fun, really refreshing to get out on the water...
Who I'd like to meet: Fun people. I love going out and partying; bar-hopping, dancing, bowling, whatever. I talk to everyone, make friends easily, and hate boring people. I love to joke, so I dig people who can laugh and joke right back.
I'm also a fan of people who dig our music. I hear all kinds of awesome stories about what people remember watching on TV or doing when they hear our stuff. Even though we totally rewrite most of the songs, the elements are still there.

So I was downtown Seattle last weekend and this bum on the side of the road off 1st street gave me this poem. I'm think about using it in a song but not to sure if I should or not. Let me know what you think of it... I'm also still looking for a drummer. Let me know. The good one's are always hard to find.
Midnight of a brave soul advances on the page of a burning book to heal the words of a hart while the eyes that read invite the most serene light to wash away the simple spell of hate on the dark cover of a noble letter.
