.. .. .. .. .. .. .. .. .. .. .. .. ......................Cool Slideshows.......... My name is Al Caldwell. I also have a band called The Travelin Black Hillbillys! I play Funk Banjo in that band. I love all styles of music.I've played as a sideman with Glenn Jones,Johnny Kemp, Johnathan Butler,Greg Howe ,ect and for the last 9 years with Vanessa Williams. This is my first time stepping out as a soloist. AL CALDWELL Jazz project will play Fusion and Movin, Shakin Grooves. I hope that you like the music. I hope that you enjoy some of the fusion stuff. In this band, I mainly play 11 and 9 string bass. The song"FUN" is all 9 string bass except for the drums and rhodes. The lead guitar solo's come from the BASS! On the gig,'i'll have another bassist. The MIDI 11 string bass can sound like ANYTHING! The sound of Pat Methany inspired the extra strings.I feel in love with his tone. I wanted an instrument that could be Barry White and Minnie Ripperton!! I use the Roland Gr-33. .. ..Profile Edited by MPS MySpace Editor........
