I'm a local musician of St. Louis. I mainly play bass and sing, but i've been teaching myself guitar for the past year or so and I can lay basic drum beats. I play bass in my high school's jazz band, marching band, and orchestra. I've been playing bass since i was 3rd grade, but i started playing electric more than 4 years ago. I'm currently in rock bands called Sin & Tim the Traitor. You should check us out!

I like to play pretty much every kind of music. I want to make an album of almost every music genre just to do something different. If there's any local bands who need help with bass, vocals, or anything don't be afraid to ask, I can't garauntee anything though.
This is me doing apologize
Warning:
If you look at my influences you may experience shock, if you are not used to a weirdo like me do not view my influence section!
A little history...
I started playing music in 3rd grade when I started to take violin lessons at my elemntary school. After a couple of weeks I switch to bass for hatred of playing the violin. I have been playing bass in orchestra ever since then. Two years ago a couple of friends of mine started to think of starting a band because of the megadeth and disturbed we'd been listening to. There's was only one problem, none of us had instruments or knew how to play. I figured since I already played bass in orchestra I might as well be the bassist. That christmas I got the red ibanez bass that I know and love today. I started to take lessons shortly after that. The band me and friends wasn't working out so I decided to try a new one. I still wanted to do the same kind of metal group we tried to start before. I then started a band called Gone in Tomorrow's Realm with my friends Leah on guitar, Tyler on guitar, and Bennett on drums. After getting and losing some band member the band most of you knew me to be in, Jynkz, was started. We wanted to go for a grunge sound like to Nirvana. I had been in that band for two years. The main members for Jynkz we're me on Bass, Philip on Guitar, Bennett on drums, and Matt on Vocals. After a while some complications between me and a certain band member led me to quit and try something knew. I had started to learn to play drums and guitar during this time. I tried to start another band but nothing really happened. Then I heard of some of my friends from school starting a band called Temporal Paradox (now changed to Sin) and was asked to join. Now I'm Really psyched to be in this new band and have high hopes. I am also in a band that practices at Dave Simons Rock School.(Fresh Cut Fury/Tim the Traitor)
..Personal Info..
To let you know a little bit about myself, I'm sixteen, and I've been playing bass since 3rd grade. Music is a passion of mine and I hope to make it into a career. but just in case that doesnt happen, I'm also looking to major in journalism when i go to college. I am a very laid back guy who enjoys a variety of things. I'm pretty easy to get along with and love to meet new people. I play volleyball and swim for my high school. I am also am in French club. I went to Germany last summer and had the time of my life! It's a memorable experience I'll never forget. I've been told I'm really funny by some and by others that I'm not, so you decide on that part!
i'm so glad you found us. i hope you're enjoying the music. did we recently see you at a show? or did you find us online? either way, glad to meet you!
it was so amusing with you :) -whenever you have smiled so nicely.. -when we played mensch-ärgere-dich-nicht (with my mum) -when we played "german-table-tennis" -.... and all the other things... :-)
the one thing i still have to say is Thank you so much!
Crap, I think I accidentally clicked "deny comments" instead of "accept comments." My bad.
But I did get a chance to read them lol.
Yeah man, I'll keep my ears open for sure, I'm excited to hear those originals. As for me, I'm gonna hit up a legit studio at my university hopefully tomorrow, assuming lyrics are done by then lol.
btw I'm thinking about using Snocap for releasing the single... iTunes seems like too much of a hassle for just one or two songs. Have you / any fellow musicians ever had any experience with Snocap? I hear lots of mixed opinions about them...
Hey Luke, I just uploaded a sampler of 4 new songs, I took about 30-45 seconds of 4 songs that I've been working on this week. I haven't had a chance to record vocals yet (mostly due to the fact that lyrics are a pain in the ass, heheheh), but yeah, this is pretty much the jist of the new Siren Layer sound. Let me know what you think ^_^ And do let me know when you get new recordings yo! ~Darrell
Hey Luke, it's been a while, as always haha. These days I'm trying my damn hardest to write and record enough songs for an album, hopefully finished up by summer time... Also practicing my vocals non-stop; I'm doing only vocals for live shows now, since I'm pretty much bringing in someone who will be doing all the lead guitar in my live band. And speaking of the live band, I'm also trying to get that together by the time the album is done, so that hopefully I could do some live shows in support for the album, heheheh. It's hard man!!!! Finding musicians is no easy task... How have you been? What projects have you been up to these days? All the best, Darrell
Ahhhh goood stuff. Glad to hear to everything is going well! Best of luck with the band and all. Also do you still chat to darrell, just I haven't heard from him in yonks aha?
Alrighty Luke, Yeaah good to hear from you again, it has been sometime! Hows everything going with you over on the side of your pond? Hope your doing well with everything, Also another new track is up sooo get those speakers or get some volume working somewhere to hear them.
