About me: Bassfire aims to bring you the most exciting performers in electronic music. It is a student collective of music enthusiasts, djs and producers who feel the sound of broken-beats. We aim to bring the nation's best emerging electronic and urban LIVE acts from all around the country to here in Sheffield at our Bassfire Presents.. nights. In the past we have had hiphop acts such as the True Ingredients with Blu Rum 13.
We recently got together with our friends at one of Sheffield's finest nights The Tuesday Club to bring 'Suckerpunch!' a kickin' new night of hiphop, house, breaks and beyond...BOOM! Catch the launch party on the 20th February at DQ.
Starting in autumn 2007 we set up a successful weekly open decks night at the Nottingham House, Broomhill. Since then we have put together nights for people to get on down to wobbly basslines and body thumpin' kicks. Some may remember the headlines we achieved one evening in spring but let's keep that under wraps..

OKAY... It's on again. Wee Bit Mean have teamed up with Bassfire to bring you our heaviest night yet.
BASSFIRE's bringing heat in the form of the world-renowned MARCUS INTALEX. This legend of drum and bass has not only played some of the biggest rooms going and released a massive FabricLive mix, he's also head honcho of the Soul:r record label, renowned for bringing deep, rolling basslines into the public ear! It's safe to say we're pretty excited to have him on the bill.
WEE BIT MEAN's gone a for a Bristol double header.
We're talking dubstep god PINCH, founding father of the Bristol scene. The man in charge of the famous 'Subloaded' night, he's just curated his own stage at Bloc Festival and runs of the eminent 'Tectonic Recordings' label.
PINCH is a true badman and a heavyweight in the dubstep world. NOT TO BE MISSED!
We've also booked one of the most exciting producers coming out of Bristol right now, the unconventional Forsaken. With releases including 'Last Saloon Swagger' 'Into the Sunset' and the amazing 'Boat Noodles', he's taking bass music somewhere else. Forsaken's coming so if you're not ready, get ready!
