    An eclectic band with a proven pedigree, Bass Instincts plays for English ceilidhs, concerts and in clubs and pubs. Band line-up: Christy Alston - Drums, Percussion / Graham Alston - Guitars, Banjo / Simon Haines - Melodeons, Footbass, Hurdy Gurdy / Stuart Moffat - Bass guitar, Acoustic guitar / Val Woollard - Recorder, English Bagpipes, WX5 Wind Synthesizer, Dulcimer, Flute, Bombarde, Desk Bells In 2006, the band reformed, playing predominantly new material. The 2008 13-track-CD "Black to Bassics" combines traditional and composed instrumentals. The band is currently working on a second CD which will feature songs.
