Hi Nick~ Busy summer. Thought you'd appreciate this joke as told by my dear drummer friend dave-goes like this: A young boy tells his father that he'd like to be a bass player and asks if he can take lessons. His father says, of course, let's get you started. So, the boy comes home from his first lesson. His father says, so, how did the lesson go? The boy responds excitedly, "Great! I learned how to play a "C"! A few days later, the boy comes home. Father says, son, how did the lesson go today? The boy responds excitedly, "Great! I learned how to play a "G"! Few days later, the boy comes home, father says, so, how did your lesson go? The boy responds, "Oh that? I didn't go. I had a gig. Have GOT to love that bass player humor. I THINK Paul found it slightly amusing:) see ya 'round~ Patti

How's it going? I'm excited to let you know that I'm starting my monthy gig at 318 Café in Excelsior on Wednesday April 8th. This will be the first in a series of shows where I play with other singer/songwriters, and Caleb Hawley will join me for next week's performance. I'd love it if you'd consider coming out! 318's food is truly delicious, and it's only 20 miles from downtown Minneapolis :) Hope to see you there!
