   About Nick Salisbury

I'm a professional bass player/teacher residing in Minneapolis MN. I play bass for G.B. Leighton, Toby Lee & The HDs, and Jeff Ray & The Stakes. I'm co-host & house bassist for The MN Songwriter's Showcase. I also arrange and produce with Caleb Garn & 5 Watt Productions

Prior to joining G.B. Leighton I was a member of the Twin Cities legendary R&B/Horn band Mick Sterling & The Stud Bros from 2001-2004. I have also appeared with Mary Cutrufello, Perri & Carey, Alicia Wiley, Cate Fierro, Rick McGuire, Murali Coryell, The Lamont Cranston Blues Band, Debra Soule, Tom Hunter and the 2006 Ruf Records Blues Caravan featuring Ian Parker (UK), Aynsley Lister (UK) and Erja Lyytinen (Finland).

I currently teach private lessons at Jim Harms' My Music Store in Golden Valley MN (763-525-0311) and at American Guitar & Band in Maple Grove MN (763-424-4888).

What: A different kind of open mic for local artists, musicians and comedians to showcase their original material.

It was fun sharing the stage at Bogarts with you (and using your gear. there's nothing better than not having to bring your own amp) Looks like Mass Drastic will be playing with you on Sept 26 at the Pickle Park. Should be a hoot!
