About me: Maurice Ellis has had a gift for music since he was 3 years old, and began his professional career when he was 11 playing keyboards for Robby Bright. While playing with musicians 3 times his age, Maurice traveled with the band playing in many venues such as clubs and festivals; he also had the chance to open for Jeffery Osborn and Rick James. He has also been the bassist in such pit orchestras/bands as West Side Story, Little Shop of Horrors, Starlight Express, and Songs From the Tall Grass. Maurice also enjoys playing bass at his home church, and has worked as a freelance bassist playing with local and national artists such as Wynton Marsalis, Tim Warfield, Phil Degreg, Erwin Stuckey, Bruce Menefield, William Menefield, Steve Williams, and Kameron Corvet. Maurice is currently a student at the College-Conservatory of Music at UC majoring in music education w/ and emphasis on JAZZ...

That's like my setup. I have the 2x10 combo with the little mark head. It sounds great on bass and amazing on cello. 5 times the watts I'll ever need though.
