“Feed My Sheep”

I had gone back to the sea. I knew He was alive . . . that He had triumphed over the grave. But I also knew that I was not the “Rock” on which He could build His church. And so, I had returned to the only life I thought I knew . . . that of a fisherman. But even that seemed destined to fail. . . .

I'd fished all night and caught nothing. And then, suddenly, there He was . . . asking me, “Peter, do you love me? . . . Peter, . . . do you love me? . . . . . . Peter, . . . do you love me?” And from the depths of my brokenness I cried, “Yes, Lord, you know that I do.” And He said to me, “Then feed My sheep.”

That morning, standing by the Sea of Galilee, my heart was forever pierced with the burning desire to “feed His sheep.” . . . I testify to you: a broken heart can be restored; a crucified will . . .brought back to everlasting life. As long as there is breath within my body, I shall do what He asks.

For to “feed the Master's sheep' is to love the Master . . . is to love you.

~ No Greater Love – Peter's closing dialogue.

I would love to come see your band if I am in town.  I may be going to visit my boyfriend this weekend, but if not I will be there.  You will have to give me directions though because I am really bad at driving down here.  I did manage to go to Caldwell on Saturday and visit both the Grandmas without getting lost though.

That's awesome.  The conference is $75, which includes everything.  $50 if you do not want to attend Brenton Brown's concert in the evening.  Yes the site is up, www.worshipidaho.com.  Check it out!

it was fun!! we went on all the good rides. and by good i mean the steepest hills ;)  we did take pics of a cool cemetary and the muesuems, but not the park since they'd be hard to carry a camera ridin rides. i'll upload the one from superman ride. you actually sit in the seat and they put the harness down on you and then lift you up so your feet are behind you and your facing down. goin down that first hill head first was freaky!!

I am the world's BIGGEST Steven Curtis Chapman fan, ask any one of my friends :) I met him my freshman year at NNU back in Portland, Oregon. I had flown home just to go to his concert! haha I've been to like 15 of his concerts or so! I got to talk to him for just a minute or two, but it was amazing! I got to talk to him again my Senior year at NNU on my cell phone though!! I had a friend from Michigan who had a backstage pass who knew how much of a fan I was and called me while he was back stage and SCC talked to me for a few minutes while I was sitting in our senior apartment. It was AMAZING!! I have a 11x 14 copy of that same picture on my wall here. I had to take down my "shrine" (it's an inside joke, not a real shrine!) because it was freaking some of my friends out :) I will tell you more if you want. I could talk FOREVER about him!! haha :) have a great day!!
