Bass Piratez is a Handzup music project started in May 2008 by Matt "Atomiku" Pope, a music producer in England that has been a producer for groups such as "Atomic Inc".
Matt has loved electronic music for as long as he can remember. His producing skills began to develop at the age of 9 when he installed Dance Ejay that came as a demo in a computer magazine. It wasn't long before he wanted to do more than Dance Ejay was capable of, which was when he was introduced to Fruity Loops by his uncle. He has been using Fruity Loops ever since.
He is currently working as a full-time web developer and wants to DJ on weekends. He enjoys Hardstyle, Hardcore, Jumpstyle, Happy Hardcore, Speedcore, Gabba, Commercial Trance/Hands Up, Techno and Trance music.
Jen has always loved singing but really began to sing at the age of 13 with vocal tuition. Since then she has taken part in a number of performances, for example at the Manchester Bridgewater Hall alongside stars such as Will Mellor, Richard O'Brien. Other venues include The Midland Hotel, Manchester, The Marriott, Worlsey alongside the cast of Hollyoaks, and The Willows Variety Club, Salford. She has also won competitions to perform live at these venues and has never come any less than in a final. At the age of 18, it can be said she has come a long way in 5 years.
