John Mason has a great background in the music industry. Beyond just a bass player, John has had the honor of being the Musical Director for countless projects and tours with some of todays finest artists. He has had the pleasure of working with some of the greatest musicians in the industry and continues to grow his career by diversifying his abilities. Some of the people John works with are: Buzz Cason (writer of over 100 charting hits), Anthony Crawford (writer and guitarist for Neil Young and many others), Josh Gracin (Lyric Street Recording Artist with 3 top 5 hits and 4th place winner of American Idol season 2), Billy Currington (Mercury Recording Artist with several top hits including "Walk A Little Straighter, Daddy" and "Good Directions"), Jay Teter (former Quarterback Records Recording Artist), Dusty Drake and Jimmy Wayne (Big Machine Records), Lee Brice (Writer of Garth's New hit "More Than a Memory"). The list can go on and on to include several of the countless up and coming Artists out of Nashville. John has worked with Capitol Records, Lyric Street Records, Arista Sony/BMG Records, Category 5 Records, Mercury Records and Quarterback Records as a player, director and tour manager. I just happened to see the Monavie website listed on your myspace.I am a Monavie distibutor,and absolutely love the juice! I drink a case a month! I do tasting parties as often as I can,depending on my playing schedule.I have been out with Trailer Choir pretty much this year.Lee and the guys never call me anymore for any shows,so I guess that's a done deal.Michael Gray and I talk from time to time!Well,I hope all is well for you these days.I want to thank you again for calling me in on the Lee Brice gig when you did! Just wanted to say we saw you with Darius Rucker when you came to Alltel Arena a few months back, you did great man! Well keep on showin' people how the bass is supposed to be played man!
