    Basstianson erblickte 1978 im Zeichen des Steinbocks das Licht der Welt. Schon anfang der neunziger Jahre intressierte er sich für elektronische Musik. Nach den ersten besuchen in Frankfurter Clubs wie Omen, Dorian Gray und the Box war die Begeisterung für das auflegen von Platten riesengroß. Kurz darauf lernte er Charles Bronxton und Pacodelicas kennen, die die gleichen interessen verfolgten. Nach einigen gemeinsamen Gigs in Bars und Loungen folgten regelmäßige Termine im Frankfurter Radiosender Radio X. Viele unvergessene Mixe folgten darauf bis man eine eigene, feste Sendezeit erhielt. Der Sound von Moonbrown war geboren.
