I want out of the labels. I don't want my whole life crammed into a single word. A story. I want to find something else, unknowable, some place to be that's not on the map. A real adventure.

About me: ** DISCLAIMER: The contents of this website are mine personally and do not reflect any position of the U.S. Government or The Peace Corps.**
I have many interests, many passions, and many opinions... Im in the Peace Corps, in Namibia, Africa. I am doing community development, HIV/AIDS education, teach 8th and 9th grade Science, deal with UN organizations for grants, camps, and opportunities for African children. If you dont know where Namibia is, get a map, its a beautiful country with only 2 million people, but they have so much culture and every kid I know here, knows at least 3 different languages. You're welcome to visit me anytime, I'll take you to the largest dunes in the world at Sossusvlei, or to see African penguins at Luderitz, or to see Lions in Etosha, or Cheetahs in Otjiwarongo, for night life we can go to Club London in the capital, Windhoek. If thats too developed for you, we can go to the Kavango region and see some beautiful tribal dances. Ive met people from all over Namibia (Namas, Afrikaners, Damaras, Owambos, Coloreds, Basters, many more), also people from Lesotho, Swaziland, South Africa, Slovenia, and Angola. My goal is to travel all over Africa, Europe, and Asia. Desk jobs arent for me.
Who I'd like to meet: I WANT TO MEET PEOPLE WHOM ARE LIKE MY CLOSEST FRIENDS AND FAMILY. (People who are genuine, people whom tell it like it is, but can also find that middle ground that doesnt make them pretentious. People who love and strive for good without expecting anything in return. People whom do not have hidden agendas, and whom will actually listen and not just wait for their turn to speak.) I KNOW WHAT I LIKE, BUT I ALSO LOVE TO LEARN NEW THINGS, TEACH ME SOMETHING NEW, THE WORLD OFFERS ALOT TO THOSE WHO WISH TO EMBRACE IT.... I WOULD ALSO LIKE TO MEET:
yeah i met this girl at black market who saw the Face to Face shirt i was wearing, and she said she listens to them and she says they are doing a reunion tour....i checked it out and they are
yeah....like el paso is changing, it's growing, all the freeway lanes are open, oh man loop 375 is growing big time! like crazy...remember how it used to be empty? there are giant buildings and roads connecting and they are building a new overpass by fred wilson and there is a good chinese restaurant on sun valley. Downtown is changing, the internetation hotel is now Doubletree hotel, which has really good breakfast and dinner. its crazy
man i can't believe how quick it seemed like you're time in africa went.
Well hey, my acting professor told us Wilco is in town and imma go see them for extra credit.
Dude, they built a brand new bookstore at utep. And they have lockers that you gotta pay 25 cents to use, which is retarded. so instead i just hang my crummy backpack in the bathroom stall, which doesn't have much in it anyway cuz of all the holes and tears it has. haha. Its nice, though, it's got stairs. that's about it, haha.
Hey, you wont believe this. My dreams have gotten so realistic that i coulda sworn you were back in el paso. I was talking to you in the living room and was like, "Wait a minute, this isn't a dream right? You're actually here in El Paso right now?" And you were like, "yeah, haha." We were even eating donuts that i just bought the other night. I even know how to control my actions in my dreams now, it's crazy. Anyway, hope things are going good out there. I'm just here workin on homework. So i'll catch you later
haha Retch 2008. Yeah, i am kinda skeptical of Drag Me to Hell cuz it has Justin Long in it, that annoying sidekick that was in Live Free or Die Hard. But I still should check it out. Yeah, those hots dog journeys. haha, i remember one night me and Ally were chilling at veterens and we went on a 7-11 hot dog hunt because we both said at the same time that we were craving chili cheese dogs from 7-11. except she dropped hers on the floor because it didn't land in the bun but she still ate it. haha.
It's wednesday today and I'm about to go get some socat from the ocat kcurt later today. Man i can't believe he's back. when you get back, you gotta have a plate.
Hey eric just thought I'd say hi and I miss u I posted an old high school picture of u in my photos...ah the good old days hope u are doing good take care and keep up the awesome adventure I enjoy ur pictures
hahahaha the lady with the red eyes. i didn't see her around, she probably doesn't even have eyes anymore. well we dressed up in sgt. pepper uniforms. We wore wigs and i had the round glasses from party world. so it was pretty fun.
oh speaking of chasing people down, i've been addicted to eating bomb pops ever since march like crazy. I was so addicted that one night, i was following the ice cream man to his home at like 10:30 pm on foot for a bomb pop. he was laughing and he gave me one.
oh yeah haha, don emi is back he's been gone for a year and we've been trying to track him down and call him. when we saw him, he said his truck broke down, mom started laughing when i told her that. haha.
well that sounds pretty neat. i'm about to start summer school in a week. just finished our last day of work on friday, we were the Beatles dressed up and i was John Lennon and we played beatles songs this year. was a lot of fun.
dude, retch made a remake in 2008, it's alive. I had no idea they made a remake. i needa see retch in action in this one, haha.
but yeah, it was funny, the taco truck came back and i lost my voice that day from yelling with my friend robert from excitement haha...
yeah people are going ape but i'm stayin clean and washing my hands and all that. Man, guess what, Ed Kowalczyk from Live is coming to el paso and he's doing a solo show here!!! Cheech and Chong are gonna be here this month too
oh alrighty cool.....oh man, I went to Riyomas the other day and the sushi chef went to tell someone out loud in the kitchen that someone ordered shrimp, and his voice cracked hardcore when he said shrimp. It was like, "Two shRIMp!" hahahahaha, I was trying so hard not to laugh cuz i was sitting right in front of the sushi chef at the sushi bar, and it was so hard to keep in my laughter and i couldn't even ask for a refill on my tea. Man, it was hilarious. Like one of my professors, his voice cracks all the time, so one day he told the class, "does anyone wanna be me tomorrow cuz i dont feel like teaching my friday class for me." So i told him, I could be you, and I imitated him and made my voice crack a lot and my professor was laughing. haha, man my professors here in the theater department are really cool.
wow crazy....it's going good here at home, just been really really busy with school. Melissa and her friend are in my ten minute play, i've had bad luck with actors cuz people weren't being really committed so it's been rough in my directing class, but luckily i'm working with them. Then i'm doing a lotta scene work in my acting 3 class. i got a buncha papers to write and stuff so i'm pretty busy, i hardly have the energy to go out on the weekends anymore. But it's all fun though.
My friends made me go to Club 69 one night cuz they were paying for all my gas and entry and food and all that stuff. i've never been there and that place sucks, haha, someone got shot and 3 guys hotwired a car and the idiots ran into a no parking sign and stalled the car. And at the end of the night, it hit me how they get rid of a lot of clubbers, which is kind of a racist way but funny at the same time. They'll stop playing rap and go right into traditional mexican stuff with trumpets and about a quarter of the clubs is left with hispanics dancing. I was like, "wow so that's they kick out people" haha.
Well i had advising the other day and I realized that i should be graduating in dec. 2010 cuz i gotta finish up my minor and crap. So yeah, almost there.
