    Bastard Nation started in late 2000 with former Atomic Garden members Booce and Moe. They invited their old friend Klöel of Thud to join the band as their frontman. After having tested 2 guitar players and drummers they finally recorded their first demo CD at the end of 2003. The demo CD of that line-up includes 4 tracks written by the band. All tracks can be downloaded on their homepage for free. After having had continuous trouble with his drummers and missing involvement of his bandmates, Moe decided in August 2005 to move the band from Cologne to Heidelberg (from western to southern Germany). In Heidelberg, Moe, together with Dirk, had formed another band called Eternal Black in late 2002. Not having officially released any material thus far, it was decided to merge these two bands to become the new Bastard Nation line-up. The 'new' Bastard Nation started recording new self-made songs in August 2005. Bastard Nation played several gigs from 2003-2005 in the surrounding area of Cologne, Germany and restarted to play gigs with the new line-up in early 2006 in Southern Germany. Unfortunately, by the end of September 2006 (right after winning the band contest at "Dröhnland Open Air 2006") guitarist Jan had to leave the band due to his job commitments and hence resulting lack of time. Moe then took responsibilty for the second guitar. The band recorded their first full length CD in April/May 2007 at "Noisechamber Studios" with producers Björn Daigger ("Majesty", "R:I:P") / Fabz Pospiech ("R:I:P", "Respawn Inc.") which was released in March 2008. Bastard Nation writes Heavy Metal songs inspired by 80's bands such as Iron Maiden, Accept and Metallica. They mix heavy grooves and riffs with fine guitar melodies. Our debut CD "Birth of a Nation" is available NOW! The album includes 10 old school Power/Thrash metal tunes with a total running time of approx. 52 minutes. For € 10,- you'll get your copy including an 8 page colored booklet on deluxe paper, and a picture CD at our concerts (or alternatively, add € 2,- for shipment). New anniversary shirts available in S, M, L, and XL in BLACK and WHITE (€10,- each) - plus few girlie shirts in BLACK (also €10,- each - please ask for available sizes): Our 2005 demo CD "Born a Bastard" is SOLD OUT!
