Ok now that's out of my system, I'll go back to speaking real English =)
I'm Joel. I teach middle primary school kids, I play music, I shoot photos and make noise with power tools in my house.
I used to use this site to blog my hilarious adventures with internet dating - now I just use it to waste time, the same as everybody else.
About my Bastardpiece Theatre blogs:
I was a young, easygoing, moderately upwardly-mobile single guy. Like any single guy, I liked dating pretty girls. Unfortunately, many of these pretty girls were a special kind of insane. Some of them were so ridiculously high maintenance that their needs can never ever be met by any mortal. Others have a smorgasbord of hangups ranging from disastrously poor self-esteem, through the gamut of earnestness, humourlessness and politically correct, to at least eleven flavours of neurotic.
And somehow, I managed to meet 'em all.
Somehow, they seemed to take a bit of a shining to me.
Brothers and sisters, I feel that it would be ungracious of me not to catalogue and document my adventures with these colourful characters that the cosmos has so kindly gifted me with.
If anything you read on this page offends you, I've probably dated you. If not, my weekend's pretty clear, how's yours?
Nah just kidding, I'm all attached up these days, but the stories are still great.
