Remember those guys that used to hang around outside your High School and sell drugs?
Well, they started a band. It’s called BASTARD SAINT and it’s loud as hell.
Hailing from the cold, unfriendly depths of Minnesota, BASTARD SAINT features current and former members of MARTYR A.D., A LIFE WITHOUT, ZEBULON PIKE, and HOUSE OF LARGE SIZES. With a sound falling between Corrosion of Conformity, Thin Lizzy, and Crowbar, this talented four-piece has carved out their own unique niche in a now-cluttered genre. Unlike plenty of bands today who are exploiting the genre of hard rock through the use of a carefully crafted image of booze and beards, BASTARD SAINT are the unintended result of simple hard living.
Their diversity has seen them share the stage with such bands as The Melvins, Helmet, Burning Brides, Zebulon Pike, Dillinger Four, The Arrivals, Skeleton Witch, Weedeater, and Black Cobra, as well as a slot during the 2007 SXSW festival in Austin TX.
BASTARD SAINT are currently writing new material. Expect new songs and updates over the next few months. And remember, if you like it, share it like an old beloved STD - to casual friends, random people at bars, and even your own family if that's the only way you can get off.
