About me:

Who am I? That's an interesting question. By the title you would have to guess I like Batman (and you may be thinking a bit to much). Well I do, like Batman but that is just part of the story.

I started video blogging over a year ago and to create a "hook" to use a music phrase, I created "The Batman Geek", because well I like Batman and love pop culture. I grew up on TV, Star Trek, The Saint, The Avengers, Saturday morning cartoons, (back where there were only 3 stations and UHF wasn't a cult movie classic) Godzilla, and a slew of others and of course the 1966 series Batman. Which I saw on reruns by the way. So when trying to "stand out" in the crowd, I thought "The Batman Geek" would sound a lot better than "The guy who grew up watching way to much TV and likes Pop Culture and Batman". I am sure you would agree the first is a lot more concise.

The rest of the story, I like to act, make movies and write. I am always creating, it's what I was born to do. Right now I finished and have my very first short film out. I am working with my partner on a number of scripts, concepts, and we have a comic/cartoon we are trying to get published/made. We do it all because we can!

Who I'd like to meet:

People who like to create, who don't want to settle in live. Guys and gals who create because they love it. Comics, cartoons, movies, toys. Who says you have to grow up? Who says you can't follow your dreams? I wanna know people who want to be more than the sum of their parts. Guys and gals who get up in the middle of the night and start writing or drawing or grab a camera and start shooting. I wanna hear from you, from the geek who dresses up for movies, to the guy who just made his/her first feature. Let's have some fun! Oh, and guys and gals who like comics, movies, toys, cartoons and stuff like that! ;)
