About me:

"All tyranny needs to gain a foothold is for people
of good conscience to remain silent."
- Thomas Jefferson

On April 15th, 2009, America unites to speak out against frivolous spending and anti-American politics.

The National Tax Day Tea Party is an event being held in approximately two hundred cities across the nation on April 15, 2009--"tax day." The day is significant as it is not only tax day, but it is a working day. It is a day where the common tax paying American is either working and producing tax revenue or attending an institution of higher education in order to become contributing members of our great society who will one day be producing tax revenue for our government to spend. The fact that it falls on a week day increases the impact of the event since those that show up are doing so at a loss of personal income and potentially negative response from employers.

We - the working and tax paying American public - are often referred to as "The Silent Majority" in political circles. However, this year we will be silent no more. We have worked and bore the burden of crooked policies and taxes for too long and it is time that we begin to speak out for the sake of ourselves and generations to come who will bear an even greater burden of financial disaster if government spending is not curbed quickly.

Do you work? Are you tired of feeling as though you are the only one who cares about what is going on amongst political elites that use the public as stepping stones to enrich themselves? Then, my friend, you need mark off April 15th, 2009 on your calendar at whatever cost it may come to you and plan to be at the Louisiana State Capitol on April 15, 2009 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM and join what may turn out to be thousands of others just like yourself who are saying enough is enough and we will be "Silent No More!"

Who I'd like to meet:

You and all your friends & family at the State Capitol on April 15th at 1:00pm!
