  • Bio

Batteries Aren't Food was started in June of 2005 as a side progect of j.A.f.a. Since then BaF has become my main project. BaF Started out as an experiment. The project was used to find creative ways of mixing some of my favorite genres and musical styles. Batteries aren't food has come a long way since the start of the project. It took a matter of years to really find the "sound" that would be BaF. BaF really sprung to life in the fall of '08 when I found myself unemployed. With nothing to really do, and no real jobs to find I started focusing on the music. Looking back today Batteries aren't Food has changed so much since '05. There would have been no way for me to imagine that this is where the project would have taken me. .. .. .. .. .. .. .. .. .. ....Plastic Bags.. by ..Batteriesarentfood.... ...... .. .. ....Send me your track.. .. .. .... .. .... .. .. .. .. .. .. .. .. .. .. .. .... .. .. ....Buy Now!.... ......Music Promotion via MusicSubmit.com...... .. ..

  • Influences

Inspired by hip hop, break beat, downtempo, post punk, IDM, glitch, psychedelic rock, industrial, and swing. .. Other influences are: The love and hatred I have for technology, coffee, Japanese films, Alfred Hitchcock, my cat, etc, etc... .. Commercial music is not art, it is instead commerce. There is nothing more boring and cliche then commercial music. This however does not leave me immune from it and I can accept that I may be influenced by popular culture. ..
