BATTERING RAM roamed a small part from Belgium and the Neatherlands for a relatively small part of the eighties
In 1989 the band performed their last gig and went silent.

Until...2006, when founder E. Scheire contacted co-founder W. Baeyens and the band was brought to life once again.
Facing the almost inevitable rebirth problems the band finally found shape in 2009.
Besides the two founding members, former leadvocalist Jo Luyckx aka 'the Butcher' rejoined the band.
Peter van Acker (lead guitar and lead vocals in Tubestreet, also brother-in-law of Walter) plays the bass and serves as second or even third vocalist.
The picture is completed by Juan Carlos Galdos, originating from Peru and happily married in Belgium, handling the lead guitar

Early 2009 The German label High Roller Records released 'Back Through The Main Gate'.
This LP contains 9 tracks taken from the 2 demo's we made back in the eighties.

Meanwhile rehearsing continues and Eddy and Walter are working on a new CD called 'Intruders from the North'
