Punching above their weight since 2008, Battle a Dinosaur is a five-piece rock band from Edinburgh, Scotland. Inspired by the simple things in life: Video games, eighties cartoons, pop culture, that Youtube video where the cat tries to jump over the baby fence and fails (Yeah you saw that, you totally did...), we create fun, no nonsense music and have a laugh doing it too.
Much like inspirational musical genius of our generation Kanye West, we don't stick to one genre, infact, we're notoriously hard to pin down. From metal, punk, tech, nu-metal (sorry, we're really, really sorry), we've done it all and more. Give our tracks a whirl, we're sure there's something in there that takes your fancy. don;t be nervous, dig in!
We are always on the look out for new shows to play near or far, so if you need a slot filled, or want a show in Edinburgh, we can do you a nice wee gig swap.
