Nachdem die letzten Jahre der Bandgeschichte von Besetzungproblemen geprägt waren, meldet die Band sich 2008 mit neuer Mannschaft zurück! Die aktuelle Besetzung mit den beiden Gründungsmitgliedern Andreas und Björn sowie den neu hinzugekommenen Ralf, Ben und Axel ist bereit den 1999 begonnen Kreuzzug fortzuführen und einige Köpfe rotieren zu lassen. Das erste Lebenszeichen in Form des 13th Black Crusade betitelten Demos wurde im Sommer 2008 aufgenommen und im September auf die Metalgemeinde losgelassen. Für 2009 stehen bereits die ersten Konzertdaten fest und die neue Besetzung wird dabei nichts als verbrannte Erde hinterlassen! Battlesword 2008 – to be continued

For some years our history had been dominated by line up problems. But now we are finally back again with a new and stronger than ever line up! Battlesword are ready to continue the crusade of steel and make you bang your head off! A new demo cd was recorded in summer 2008 and released in september 2008. Some concerts have already been confirmed for 2009 and we are convinced that the new line up will just blow away any audience! The Crusaders are back!

These cassettes will be commissioned works (not by content, but by payment) for individuals. If John Smith in London, England wants his own Zebulon Kosted album, I will make a 45 minute album (one side of a 90 minute tape), 2 hand drawn mini posters, I will name the album after him (Zebulon Kosted - John Smith), and the fan will retain all rights to the recording (for use of any future release, sampling, or broadcasting rights). One copy of the album will remain in my personal collection, and one will be sent to the customer, so that the only copy that will be in circulation will be John Smiths copy! Each album is available for the ridiculously low price of $10 (not including shipping), and will be shipped in its completed form no later than 6 weeks from the date of purchase!!!
