On the 14th of September 2009, the Battlewitch ceased to be. Here's the "official" line...
It is with some sadness that I must announce that the all conquering mighty Battlewitch are going onto an indefinite hiatus (ie. that's it, the end) due to insane reasons beyond our control. As a result of this, all upcoming gigs have been cancelled and anything Battlewitch related is going up on the shelf until further notice. You can still buy the cd from the shop if you want (I should really increase the price now) or you can just download it for free on one of the million blogs that are hosting it now (type Battlewitch Wessex Steel into Google!). Apologies to anyone who was hoping to see us over the next few months and thanks to everyone who has supported us in one way or another - you mad fools - you know who you are.

Hail men of Battlewitch Mountain, No new songs I'm afraid. We'll be starting the Hearse rolling again shortly though, so any gigs from Jan 2009 onwards would be good. Let's sort out a load of gigs to blow people's minds with our Rock!!
