Battling Siki is a Detroit-based band that connects the roots of various musical traditions-rock, blues and country-and plants them in a soulful, more contemporary ground. Grizzled trillmaster and guitar player Scott Harrison fashions timeless songs that sway effortlessly, while his honest and revealing tales are delivered with a guttural, amber-toned warble. The band consists of four of the city's most seasoned, stout players, all whom carve out their own identity and spirit for the purpose of the song. From foot-stomping grooves to shivering ballads, Siki's performances are completely energetic and teeming with imagery and hope.
