Batucada do Norte is an all percussion samba band that is open to the community to join.
It is led by bros Tim and Pat O'Keefe who are passionate about this Brazilian style of music. They, along with our singer- Jr. Brazil from Recife in the NE area of Brazil - also play in a Brazilian popular music band called Brasamba.
The 15 (or so) member band "Batucada do Norte ( Drum group of the north) usually plays during most Brasamba gigs, along with events of their own.
We are based in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
We are an old percussion street band from Catalonia, and now we start to play on the scenario, with some friends (singers, bass, chord, trombone, trompet, flute...).

"Bandidas Galaxy" è uno spettacolo di musica brasiliana di sole percussioni, organizzato dal gruppo Bandidas. La peculiarità di questa banda è la sua componente prettamente femminile a cominciare da Antonella, il direttore d'orchestra. Le coreografie si uniscono al ritmo Bahiano e alla simpatia di 15 percussioniste scatenate che sapranno stupire il pubblico presente con eccentrici spettacoli!
