Baum (vox/acoustic guitars)
Chris Heule (keys, vox)
Darwin (guitars/vox)
Laurent New (drums)
Influences
Loads of, like The John Butler Trio, The Police, Starsailor, Teitur, Joe Jackson, Paul Weller, The Beatles, The Cure, Jose Gonzalez, The Postal Service, Kashmir, Getz/Gilberto, Jason Mraz, Nizlopi, Ben Harper, James Taylor, Bob Dylan, and mainly AC/DC.
His talent has been recognized by such artists as Van Morrison, The John Butler Trio, Gavin DeGraw, and Teitur, who featured him as a solo opening act on their tours in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland. Peter Gabriel discovered Baum after listening to his live recordings in Kongresshaus Zurich and Openair St. Gallen. He presented him on his We7 music portal opening page as a up-and-coming artist, and featured him as a new breed in singer/songwriter in a spotlight special. Neil Young has also chosen Baum’s song „One Day You Will Return“ for his Living With War Today campaign. Baum played additional gigs in England and Switzerland, performing in several festivals including Blue Balls Lucerne, and the most important Swiss festival, Openair St. Gallen. All in all, this makes an audience totaling over 80.000 people in the past two years, without even having a record deal.
With his former band Outland, Baum recorded three CDs and achieved several international awards such as the London Music Week/UK "Best European Breakthrough Artist", and Frankfurt Musikmesse/Germany "Europe's Hottest Newcomer". He continued to follow his true passion, and after three years of being a solo artist, Baum is a band now with (B.B. King, Leona Lewis, Macy Gray) keyboards, guitar and blues harp player Darwin, and drummer Laurent New.

Ohmygosh, I just watched your Doolin Fluting video and MISSED you dears to the point of a royal pang clutching whatever it is that lies below my ribs. Or maybe it was in my stomach. I dunno. To see you in perfect Irishy gray, outside a cottage and all scarved up playing bloody flutes - good lord! I miss Ireland too. Hugs from me. Please drink a Guiness for me EVERY SINGLE DAY. Ouch. I still hurt. But I am getting stuff done here without you! Ha! And eating less cheese. And breathing less smoke. Be well. Andrea P.S. Everybody hug each other! All the BaumMongers and Nico!
