Charlie Morris Band CD Release Party at the Ka-Tiki Friday!
Ten Tall Tales features 10 new original songs, each of which tells a true story (we don't claim these stories actually happened to us, but in this crazy world, they surely happened to somebody at some point).
The CD release party will be this Friday (May 15) at Charlie's local watering hole, the Ka-Tiki on Sunset Beach. The fun starts at 7pm.
The Ka-Tiki is one of the last of the "old Florida" beach bars. The local crew have similarly old-fashioned ideas about drinking, dancing and carrying on (good things). As always at the Ka, there may be a couple of guest stars showing up to toast the new disc.
And if that doesn't get you out on an early Friday evening, dig this: if you tell us you're a MySpace friend, we'll lay a free CD on you! Now we know you'll be there!
Chuck and the boys will also be at the Saturday Morning Market (May 16, 10am-2pm) and at the Swigwam on St. Pete Beach (another surviving old Florida hangout) Saturday evening (7-11pm).
