Featuring six awesome hours of cutting-edge San Francisco Bay Area bands and DJs, the first Bay Area Takeover was a landmark achievement for Bay Area indie rock music and became one of the SXSW highlights for the many who attended.

In just two years, Tricycle Records has built one of the fastest growing rosters in the local industry while maintaining a strong relationship with the music community and their friends at The Bay Bridged. Founders Julie Schuchard and Don Joslin take pride in a diverse roster of artists that add to the independent spirit of local music. With many of the bands on their second release, Tricycle Records has only begun to branch outside of the Bay Area. As a partner in The Bay Area Takeover, they will be showcasing four of their seven bands at this year’s event.
